To mitigate the impact, the state has allocated ₹1,250 crore in relief, including ₹2,500 for each farmer and ₹25 crore per district for livestock support. In response to the mounting economic damage, the state is seeking ₹20,585.73 crore in assistance from the central government under the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF). This request includes subsidies for crop loss, livelihood assistance for 61.91 lakh small and marginal farmers, and funds for drinking water and animal husbandry. The state plans to lead a delegation to Delhi to advocate for these funds.
