While the Toyota Corolla has emerged as the top choice for new car buyers, the used market remains susceptible to fraud. Research from carVertical indicates a strong correlation between vehicle damage history and mileage manipulation: vehicles with a recorded history of damage are twice as likely to have had their mileage rolled back (5.2%) compared to undamaged vehicles (2.6%).

On a macroeconomic level, Serbia’s foreign trade exchange reached 52.52 billion euros from January to August 2026, a 6.4% increase over the previous year. During this period, exports rose by 8.8% to 23.71 billion euros, while imports increased by 4.6% to 28.81 billion euros, resulting in an 11.3% decrease in the trade deficit, which stood at 5.93 billion dollars.
