Female empowerment and social inclusion events in Guayaquil

Overview

Guayaquil is hosting several events centered on female empowerment, social inclusion, and recognition. The third edition of ‘Súper Niñas 2026’, organized by the Fundación Mañana Será Bonito in partnership with the Guayaquil Municipality, is scheduled for October 15 to honor 15 girls and adolescents for achievements in academics, sports, and the arts.

Regarding the ‘Reina de Guayaquil 2026’ pageant, which marks 70 years of its modern era, the 16 candidates have been officially presented. As part of their social initiatives, the candidates recently visited the Albergue Ciudadano Municipal to provide lunch and food donations to approximately 30 residents, including youth and seniors. This visit was organized by the Public Company of Social Action, Neighborhood Integration, and Education (DASE EP) to focus on social solidarity.

Additionally, the second edition of ‘La Belleza de Sentir’ has launched. Supported by the Guayaquil Mayor's Office through the Social Inclusion Directorate, this program commemorates International White Cane Day by presenting nine candidates who aim to become ambassadors for inclusion. The initiative focuses on empowering women with partial or total visual disabilities through training in leadership, public speaking, social project development, and artificial intelligence applications. The ‘Reina de Guayaquil’ final election gala is scheduled for October 27.
