Experts indicate the focus must shift toward strategic placement, power capacity, and consistent functionality.

Infrastructure development continues to prioritize speed and user experience. Ultra-fast 600 kW chargers on the A7 motorway can provide 300 km of range in eight minutes. To manage urban congestion, automated robotic systems have been introduced to reserve parking spots and notify drivers via mobile phones when charging is complete. Additionally, Renault is expanding its Renault Plug Inn network—formerly known as Mobilize—aiming for 93 stations by the end of 2026. These stations, located primarily at dealerships near major transit routes, offer up to 320 kW charging and climate-controlled rest areas for all electric vehicle brands.
