Addressing a ‘constant decline in blood product stocks, affecting all blood groups,’ the EFS has partnered with Hôpital Européen for a blood drive on November 19, 2026, at the Espace Éthique. This initiative highlights the national requirement of approximately 10,000 daily donations to meet medical needs, noting that a single donation can potentially save up to three lives through the provision of blood, plasma, and platelets. Other scheduled activities include autumn drives in the Vosges department and the ‘Sang pour Sang Campus’ event in Villeurbanne from October 6 to 8.
