Bagbin clarified that the President lacks the authority to communicate changes in parliamentary leadership, as the Majority Leader is designated by the party caucus. Consequently, Bagbin ruled that Agalga would serve in an acting capacity while the previous leader, Ayariga, remains in the seat until the party formally communicates a change.
