Prosecutors are probing whether the doctor’s forensic report in a 2021 fatal workplace accident was illegally influenced, linking the alleged bribery to compensation lawsuits.

Overall, the probe now lists about 20 additional suspects, ties the network to 357 drug transactions and 52 arms sales worth over €238,000, and continues to examine older case files for further evidence of bribery and evidence‑fabrication within the Chania judicial system.
