Participating nations include South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Namibia, and Canada. The West Indies will enter two teams: a primary squad and a second team titled the ‘Rest of the Caribbean’. The West Indies primary squad will be captained by former West Indies captain Denesh Ramdin and includes former international player Ramnaresh Sarwan, along with Rayad Emrit, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Jason Mohammed, and Devendra Bishoo. The West Indies are scheduled to begin their campaign against Australia at the National Stadium in Providence.

Canada has announced a 16-man squad featuring former West Indies players Royston Crandon and Shane Shillingford, led by captain Shailesh Patel. The tournament will feature two groups; Group A includes the hosts, South Africa, Australia, West Indies, Wales, Canada, Namibia, Sri Lanka, and Colombia.

Raj Singh, Chairman of the Cricket West Indies Masters Association, stated the event is a self-funded arrangement where participating countries cover their own registration, airfare, and accommodation. Guyana President Irfan Ali will serve as the event’s patron and will host the opening and closing ceremonies while assisting with security, transportation, and medical services. Additionally, Guyanese-born, Canada-based umpire Suresh Budhoo has been appointed as one of the tournament officials.
