Overview

Amnesty International’s July 30 2026 report “Made in India: The Supply of Weapons and Ammunition to Israel” documented at least 2,596 shipments from India to Israel between 7 Oct 2023 and 30 Nov 2025, comprising roughly 390,516 small‑arms parts, 564,970 explosive‑ordnance components and 298 vehicle‑related parts. The consignments were delivered to major Israeli defence firms such as Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries, as well as to firms previously named. Indian exporters included PLR Systems (Adani Defence & Aerospace‑Israel Weapon Industries JV), Indo MIM, Kalyani Systems, Alpha Elsec Defence & Aerospace, and state‑linked Munitions India, India Optel and Advanced Weapons and Equipment India. Amnesty warned the scale of exports could make India complicit in alleged war crimes and possible genocide in Gaza, where over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed. The report excluded any cargo that might have been intended for civilian use. India, which has never joined the Arms Trade Treaty and abstained from its 2013 adoption vote, reiterated that its arms exports comply with domestic law and international obligations, rejecting the allegations. No public response to the July 2026 accusations has been issued.
