The first edition of the Bex expo has now opened at the Rimini Expo Centre. Data from the Politecnico di Milano Space Economy Observatory highlights significant growth potential; while only 10% of large Italian companies in other sectors currently have active space technology projects, 55% view it as a viable area for diversification. Italy currently ranks seventh globally for the number of active satellites, with a national aerospace supply chain valued at 21.4 billion euros.

Additionally, at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, the ‘Move and Fly’ project has been launched to enhance passenger wellness through dedicated areas for physical activity.
