Various rally racing events are scheduled to take place across Italy during September 2026.

In Tuscany, the 44th Rally Casciana Terme is expected to host a record 130 crews. Taking place in the province of Pisa, the competition features modern, historic, and classic vehicles and serves as a qualifying event for the Coppa Rally di Zona 7. Notable entries include WRC3 leader Matteo Fontana, driving a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, who will compete against local specialists such as Claudio Arzà and Rudy Michelini.

Other scheduled competitions include the 41st Rally Città di Torino e Valli di Lanzo on September 5 and 6, centered in Cirié, and the 11th Tindari Rally in Sicily from September 25 to 27.

The 49th Rally 1000 Miglia, slated for September 3 to 5, serves as a round of the 2026 Campionato Italiano Rally Challenger and acts as a precursor to the Automobile Club Brescia’s centennial celebrations in 2027. The event will be valid for the 3rd Zone Rally Cup and the Lombardia Rally Cup.

Ninety-two crews were confirmed for the 1000 Miglia, including four-time Italian champion Andrea Crugnola and championship leaders Marco Signor and Daniele Michi. However, the competition was cancelled on September 5 following a fatal accident during the Bione special stage in Valsabbia. A 63-year-old spectator, Francesco De Pasquale, was killed when a Skoda Fabia driven by Alessandro Zorzi lost control and struck him while he was taking photographs. The Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation, led by Magistrate Francesca Sussarello, to determine the cause of the accident and evaluate spectator area safety.
