Following a pre-release phase focused on bug hunting, Mojang has officially announced that ‘Wilderness Bound’ is scheduled to launch globally on September 15, 2026, for both Java and Bedrock editions. The update will include abandoned camps featuring wool tents and chests. Notably, players can find ‘Abandoned Camp maps’ within common chests, which can lead to various locations including warm ocean ruins, desert pyramids, buried mineshafts, and buried ancient cities.
