The party also called for better coordination between the Municipal Chamber, the Regional Government, and Social Security to address rising homelessness.

Additionally, the JPP, represented by Isabel Santos, accused the PSD/CDS majority of rejecting all 13 of its recent proposals. Santos emphasized that the city must grow “without displacing its own citizens,” citing concerns over the high cost of living, mobility, urban cleanliness, and the maintenance of public spaces and coastal ecosystems outside the city center.
