On 31 July, a fire broke out in a flat on Sche street in Kampen, prompting evacuation of that building. Later the same day, firefighters responded to a smoldering pillow in an apartment on Meppelerstraatweg in Zwolle; adjacent units were temporarily evacuated while the pillow was extinguished and the stairwell ventilated. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. As of early August, the Zwolle incident is the most recent evacuation event.
