Joint filers with incomes under $150,000 will receive $200, while those with incomes between $150,000 and $300,000 will receive $150. Single filers with incomes under $150,000 are eligible for $100.

Additionally, the state is expanding the Energy Affordability Program (EAP). This program provides monthly discounts directly on utility bills, potentially benefiting 2.5 million more households with annual savings of up to $500. Unlike the automatic POWER rebates, residents may need to enroll in the EAP through their utility provider. New eligibility rules for the EAP expansion include households earning below the state or local median income.
