Following the match, TNT Sports journalist Constanza Solar reported being physically assaulted outside the stadium. Solar stated on social media that she was recognized as Chilean and kicked by a supporter, noting, ‘I took a kick. A fan recognized me as Chilean and hit me. My leg hurts a lot.’

Additionally, Coquimbo Unido player Alejandro Camargo raised concerns regarding the conduct of the Platense delegation, alleging that the team lacked hot water in their facilities.
