The Palestinian Central Election Commission noted that technical adjustments were made to standardize procedures between Gaza and Jerusalem, with field voter registration scheduled to begin on 15 August.

The Gaza Strip remains under intense warfare and blockade, while Israeli settlement expansion and movement restrictions pressure the West Bank.
