Overview

Although Jallah was initially convicted of kidnapping on October 23, 2026, the judge later overturned that specific conviction on jurisdictional grounds, ruling that the kidnapping charge must be refiled in Criminal Court ‘A’.

Jallah, who has denied all allegations, has announced intentions to appeal both the conviction and the sentence to the Supreme Court of Liberia.
