The 2026 centenary celebrations also highlight individual missionary legacies, such as the 100th birthday of Herminia Altieri Bachiller. A member of the Company of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from Spain, Altieri has dedicated 75 years to missionary work, primarily in the Nieva region of the Amazon in Peru. Her life serves as a reflection of the broader theological view of the parish as a vital missionary space for personal encounters with faith and community dynamism.
