Overview

Following his visit to the Rafa Nadal Museum in Mallorca in late July 2026, Roger Federer continued his Mediterranean summer travels through Croatia and Italy.

In early August, Federer and his wife, Mirka, visited the Croatian island of Mali Lošinj. Federer’s Italian itinerary expanded in mid-August to include the Pontine coast and Sicily. While sailing around the island of Ponza, he visited the Zeppieri Tennis Team courts in Circeo to play with coach Fabrice Zeppieri. In Taormina, Sicily, Federer was seen playing on the clay courts of the Taormina Sporting Club, participating in informal matches with LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault and local official Mario Quattrocchi. During this visit, the local football club, Taormina FC, presented him with a team jersey, an event the club characterized as an “indescribable emotion.”

Beyond leisure, Federer has several upcoming professional exhibition appearances scheduled. On August 25, he is set to participate in a program at the US Open’s Arthur Ashe Stadium alongside Andy Roddick, Andre Agassi, and John McEnroe. Additionally, he is slated to appear at the ‘Roger & Friends’ exhibition event during the Shanghai Masters on October 16, which is expected to feature stars such as Li Na, Marat Safin, and Dinara Safina.
