Scooter-related robberies in Italy

The individual, who was residing irregularly in Italy, was linked to a series of thefts and robberies committed using a scooter in the city center. After failing to comply with a previous order to leave the country, he was escorted to the border and repatriated.

In Catania, police arrested a Tunisian national following a robbery near Piazza Turi Ferro. The suspect allegedly used a knife to threaten a victim while snatching the handlebars of an electric scooter. Following the theft, the suspect attempted to extort money from the victim by offering to return the vehicle through a third party. The individual was taken into custody for aggravated robbery and attempted extortion.
