Scottland FC coaching changes and domestic campaign

Overview

Following their exit from the CAF Champions League, Scottland FC has undergone a leadership change. After losing 3-2 on aggregate to Petro de Luanda, the club immediately dismissed head coach Norman Mapeza.

Former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu, who previously served as the club’s team manager, has been appointed as interim head coach. Ndlovu is expected to lead the team for the remainder of the 2026 campaign while the club searches for a permanent replacement.

His primary objective is managing Scottland’s domestic title defense. The defending champions currently trail league leaders Hardrock FC by eight points, though they hold two games in hand.
