Thiaw’s legal representatives have specified that the demand includes roughly $317,000 in unpaid wages for the period between March and August, $158,000 in outstanding signing bonuses, and $52,000 in special contractual bonuses.

Further claims include $176,000 in bonuses related to the Africa Cup of Nations campaign and 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification, alongside reimbursements for housing, fuel, and approximately $18,500 in personal expenses. FSF President Abdoulaye Fall previously noted that the relationship between the federation and the coach had broken down.

While Thiaw’s team initially sought an amicable settlement, they have indicated that legal action will follow if the debt is not resolved within the deadline. Concurrently, the FSF is seeking a successor, with Togolese coach Daré Nibombé having submitted his candidacy.
