Now driving for Cadillac, he noted that securing points may be more challenging and expressed that the experience might feel different for fans who are accustomed to seeing him fight for victories. “It is difficult to digest for a fan because they want to see me win and in the fight... Now it is a different story, but they understand it completely,” Pérez stated, while noting the upcoming busy period of consecutive races in the United States and Mexico.
