Indian Railways has expanded its transport support for the month‑long Shravani Mela. Chief Minister Hemant Soren highlighted the festival’s cultural and economic importance, noting improvements in sanitation, healthcare and transport. Ongoing coordination among railway officials, police and civil administration aims to ensure smooth passenger flow, rapid emergency response and effective inter‑agency communication throughout the mela period.
