Overview

South Korea is preparing for several large-scale youth-oriented events and cultural initiatives. In August 2026, it was announced that Seoul will host World Youth Day from August 3 to 8, 2027, under the theme “Have courage: I have conquered the world!”

Meanwhile, Busan hosted a festival themed ‘Different Youths, One Voyage Toward Busan,’ which included career lectures and a policy talk concert where Mayor Jeon Jae-soo engaged directly with citizens to listen to their policy suggestions.
