These groups maintain their demands for a specific professional statute, exclusive negotiation rights, a new professional category (A1+), and a 35-hour work week. Consequently, they have threatened an indefinite strike for September.

In contrast, other professional groups have expressed support. The Nursing Technicians Union (SAE) has welcomed the progress and is calling for a swift parliamentary process to ensure that new professional classifications are accompanied by the necessary budgetary funding to make the changes effective. Additionally, patient associations such as ANPASS have expressed concern, urging both the government and unions to return to the negotiating table to avoid the disruption of healthcare services caused by potential strikes.
