On 1 August 2026 Nwabali delivered a man‑of‑the‑match performance in Chippa United’s PSL opener, keeping a clean sheet in a 0‑0 draw with Lamontville Golden Arrows, making six saves and earning a 9.1 rating. The display underscored his importance to the club’s defence and bolstered his case for national‑team selection as he competes with Maduka Okoye, Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho for the goalkeeper spot under head coach Eric Chelle ahead of the 2027 AFCON qualification campaign.
