In Chiayi County, a village chief candidate in Zhuxi Township, surnamed Wang, is under investigation for allegedly distributing cash and gifts ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 TWD to voters between September and October. The suspect and 19 voters were summoned for questioning, and Wang was released on 50,000 TWD bail.

Investigations in Kaohsiung also continue in Dashu District, Gushan District, and Qiaotou District involving allegations of distributing cash, jewelry, pastry gift boxes, and utilizing family members to secure fisherman subsidies for voters.
