In September 2026, the city hosted GRAVITEO, a major urban sports festival held at La Marina and O Parrote. The event, held from September 18 to 20, featured the Spanish Parkour Championship alongside international and Galician speed climbing and boulder competitions, including the Psicobloc Master Series. Organized with support from the Xunta de Galicia and local authorities, the festival drew thousands of spectators. In the parkour championships, Alicia García won two gold medals in the freestyle and speed categories. The festival concluded with the Open Gallego Juvenil and featured American climbing star Chris Sharma as an ambassador.
