Major gaming exhibitions in Japan have announced upcoming schedules for late 2026.

The Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026) will mark its 30th anniversary at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to September 21. For the first time, the event will expand to a five-day duration, featuring two business days followed by three days for the general public. To commemorate the milestone, the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) has launched a special website detailing the event's history and anniversary programs, such as special exhibition displays and a panel of veteran game producers. Attendees will also have access to special anniversary tickets, themed food menus, and a Creator Lounge supported by Twitch and Razer.

In addition to anniversary programming, gaming hardware manufacturer Brook Gaming will showcase new products, including the ‘8K Core Fighting Board’, the ‘StarRay PS5 Controller’, and a new mobile gaming keyboard. NC Japan has also announced that the new subculture RPG ‘Astrae Oratio’, developed by Dynamis One, will be featured at the event.

Additionally, the 14th Tokyo Game Dungeon indie game exhibition is set for October 31, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho. Applications for the 270 available exhibition slots—comprising 100 for first-time participants and 170 for regular exhibitors—open on August 21, 2026, via the Eventory electronic ticketing site. Visitor tickets will go on sale starting September 30, 2026, with general admission priced at 1,000 yen and business tickets at 2,000 yen. Entry is free for visitors aged 18 and under.
