Speakers reiterated that 53 migrants have died in ICE custody since the Trump administration began, 33 of them in the current fiscal year, and pressed for greater DHS transparency, the release of detainees, and an end to raid tactics. The protests show sustained, coordinated pressure for accountability and policy change as the election cycle approaches.
