Vietnam was named ‘Asia’s Leading Destination 2026’ and ‘Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination 2026’. The country has maintained its status as Asia’s Leading Destination since 2022. Other regional winners included Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park as ‘Asia’s Leading National Park’. Specific recognition was also granted to Tà Xùa, honored as ‘Asia’s Leading Emerging Destination’, and the Mộc Châu National Tourist Area, which secured its fifth consecutive title as ‘Asia’s Leading Natural Destination’ since 2022.

Hanoi received two honors, being named ‘Asia’s Leading City Break Destination’—marking its fifth consecutive win since 2022—and ‘Vietnam’s Leading Cultural Destination’, a title it has held for three consecutive years. These recognitions reflect the capital’s focus on sustainable, digital-driven tourism and the development of its nighttime economy.
