In Hanoi, the ‘Net Ha Thanh - Hanoi Stories Through the Ao Dai’ program was scheduled for September 11 at the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Cultural and Scientific Activity Center as part of the second Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2026. The event explores the garment's evolution and its connection to Hanoi's urban identity. The program includes an exhibition of nearly 400 AI-generated canvas paintings reinterpreting historical imagery, alongside a collection of antique sewing machines and vintage vehicles from collector Dao Xuan Tinh. Visitors can participate in traditional tailoring experiences with artisans from Trach Xa Ao dai village, following the garment's transformation from Giao Linh and Ngu Than styles to modern Le Pho and Raglan designs. The event concludes with a fashion show featuring 15 collections inspired by Hanoi's architecture and culture.
