In Nevesinje, Savo Minić, President of the Government of Republika Srpska, visited the Donja Bijenja site to commend firefighters and announce further investments in equipment. Following the August fires, Herceg Novi Municipal President Stevan Katić announced financial bonuses for all members of the local Service for Protection and Rescue to recognize their professionalism. Katić also launched an initiative urging state institutions to legally increase salary coefficients for emergency services to better reflect the risks of the profession.
