In mid‑July 2026, Wyoming began early voting for its August 18 primary, opening clerk‑office sites in Teton and Natrona counties. County Clerk Tracy Good noted that some residents cited dissatisfaction with “political mudslinging” as a reason for abstaining. The results showed a deepening Republican tilt, with the party accounting for approximately 88% to 90% of total ballots cast, while the Democratic share decreased and nonpartisan participation remained below 12%.
