Users can now access a ‘Trade’ button via Cashtags for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies, which redirects them to third-party platforms. The current group of U.S. partners includes Gemini, Coinbase, and Kraken for cryptocurrency trading, alongside Interactive Brokers and Moomoo for traditional financial products. X maintains that it does not execute trades or hold customer assets, acting instead as a bridge to these providers which manage order execution and account requirements.
