Hasan Ali Gönen, President of the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone, noted that managing water is no longer strictly an environmental issue but a matter of “economic resilience, food security, and urban stability.”

In a practical application of these conservation goals, the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) implemented a xeriscaping project at its service building garden. The project utilizes drought-resistant plant species and controlled irrigation zones to minimize consumption. ATSO Chairman Yusuf Hacısüleyman described the initiative as a concrete step toward resource management, stating, “Protecting water is not a matter of today, but a matter of the future.”
