Overview

Baja California is hosting a series of cultural, gastronomic, and artistic events throughout the latter half of 2026.

In late August, the region is focusing on wine and cocktail traditions. The Valle de Guadalupe is hosting the “Viñadas 2026” program, which includes wine tastings and grape stomping, while the Riviera de Ensenada is holding the “Festival de la Margarita 2026” to commemorate the cocktail’s 78th anniversary. Additionally, the 2nd International Guitar Festival (FIGBA) is scheduled for late August in Rosarito.

Looking toward October, the state will host the 25th Festival de Octubre, themed ‘Territorios de Paz.’ Spanning seven municipalities, the festival will feature over 100 activities, including immersive digital exhibitions such as ‘Desafío Dalí’ in Tijuana and ‘Yo soy Frida Kahlo’ in Mexicali. To increase accessibility, officials are distributing 20,000 free tickets for these exhibitions.
