In July 2024, a heavy downpour forced the early‑season play “Eirini – A Visit to Aristophanes’ Work” to stop after an hour, prompting chaos as thousands of spectators evacuated and leading the organizers to issue automatic ticket refunds. The same period saw the cancellation of the Troades performance on 31 July due to smoke from Argolis wildfires, with refunds or rescheduled attendance offered.
