The Colombian artist’s 2026 touring program continues across Italy and the United States. In New York, Sotheby’s Breuer opened “Botero in New York” on 22 July, scheduled through 7 September. The exhibition, jointly organized by the Fernando Botero Foundation and Sotheby’s, displays more than 35 paintings and sculptures from the artist’s formative 1960‑1973 period, many offered for sale, marking the first solo Botero show at the Breuer venue and the first major New York presentation dedicated to a single Colombian artist.
