These changes apply specifically to Air France and KLM operated flights; pricing for partner airlines remains unchanged, and the new tiers do not apply to La Premiere awards. Existing tickets will be honored under current conditions. This move aligns Flying Blue with other loyalty programs, such as Miles & More, which utilize similar tiered pricing models to offer lower entry-level mile costs. However, critics suggest the restructuring “effectively devalues the program” by increasing the real cost of award travel for members seeking consistent benefits.
