A €30 million guarantee fund involving the State, Bpifrance, and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region has also been established. As of early September, the crisis has transitioned toward long-term recovery, with the financial impact in Gironde estimated at nearly €9 million. Efforts now focus on road repairs, psychological support, and resident relocation. The Gironde Relogement Solidaire cell has assisted 199 households, 92 of whom have secured temporary housing for one to two years to facilitate reconstruction. Notably, 161 of these cases originate from Le Porge. Social workers continue to address administrative and housing needs in areas including Lège-Cap-Ferret and Lanton.
