Hong Kong bar murder investigation reaches 16 arrests
Overview
The fatal assault on 32‑year‑old Isaac Yeung at the Cambridge House bar in Tsim Sha Tsui on 26 July 2026, which led to his death on 31 July, has continued to unfold. Police first detained nine suspects, later adding the Sheng Ho gang leader “Left Mouth” and his associate “Wei Jian” to bring the total to ten, and on 2 August three more men—including senior Wo Shing Wo member “Cho Hau”—raised the count to twelve.
On 4 August four additional suspects, aged 26 to 33 and known by nicknames such as “Wei Jian”, “Stitchy”, “Qinghai” and “Lin”, were arrested and charged with murder, pushing the overall number of arrests to sixteen. A 31‑year‑old suspect remains at large. The case is being handled by the West Kowloon anti‑triad task force and will be heard at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Court on 6 August. Police continue to seek information from the public.
The investigation remains focused on gang‑related motives behind the bar homicide.
