This follows an appeal reviewed by the Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) which alleges the convicts are not adhering to judicial restrictions of their open regime.

The appeal, presented by the Associação do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+, cites concerns regarding Alexandre Nardoni’s professional routine, movement during restricted hours, and the accuracy of his registered address. The STJ's Fifth Panel began analyzing the case in late August, with proceedings expected to conclude by early September. The case is under the rapporteurship of Minister Ribeiro Dantas.
