He is reportedly receiving medical treatment in a secure location.
The strike killed at least five Palestinians, including four women and members of the local Christian community, Maysa Abu Daoud and her daughter Mary. The explosion caused significant damage to the Al-Asala residential building. Hamas has denied allegations of rearming, accusing Israel of undermining peace efforts. Since the October 2025 ceasefire began, Palestinian health officials report at least 1,400 deaths due to Israeli strikes.
