This hiring plan, which includes 16 auxiliary staff and cleaners, nine emergency responders, and three ambulance drivers, aims to “ensure the continuity of emergency and urgent services and prevent interruptions to public service,” provided the hires do not increase the company’s budget costs. Labor disputes have also emerged regarding meal voucher disparities in the ASL of Taranto. Furthermore, the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) in Puglia faces delays; while community houses are being built, many remain non-functional due to a lack of medical personnel.
