He instead proposes targeting free egg freezing specifically to women with a documented risk of premature ovarian reserve reduction through hormonal and ultrasound screenings. Recent developments show Puglia moving forward with its regional support. A law approved in late 2024 will provide financial assistance for non-medical egg freezing starting in 2025. The regional government will allocate 300,000 euros annually from 2025 to 2027 to offset cryopreservation costs.
