As of September 2026, Zarza Networks S.L. has fulfilled this requirement by establishing the necessary guarantee. This administrative milestone allows the project to move toward full legal coverage, enabling Meta to present final construction plans and apply for building licenses.

The development is expected to involve an initial investment of 750 million euros, with total costs potentially exceeding 1 billion euros across various phases on the 191-hectare site. Once operational, the project is projected to create 250 high-skilled direct jobs and approximately 780 indirect jobs annually within the regional supply chain, in addition to employment generated during the construction phase.
