This push for practical skill development has gained broader support from state leaders. At the 3rd Nagaland Economic Association conference, Minister Temjen Imna Along noted that despite high literacy rates, the state faces high unemployment, urging youth to become “opportunity creators.” Additionally, Agriculture Advisor Mhathung Yanthan encouraged the adoption of value addition, branding, and digital marketing for indigenous products to drive economic growth.
